Sahasra Linga Kona
This is picturecue picnic place with waterfalls .As per Purana here Lord appeared in Yakshaswarupa to Indra and others.. Goddess Gnanambika (Uma Devi) bestowed Indra and others upon the naturally Supeem Lord Eswara .Many others was also similarity benified here
Saraswathi Theerthamu
The well inside the temple is known as Saraswathi Theertham.The water in this well cures Stammering and makes one eloquent
Bharadwaja Theerthamu
Sage Bharadwaja who lived here at the end of Dwapara Yuga, had established his Ashramam and installed Shiva temple in this valley and built the theertham for his daily rituals and penance.Its picturesque and serene place was adobe for devotees for their penance .Arjuna of Mahabharata,stayed with Bharadwaja Maharshi and learnt Archary and other martial arts. Later this Bharadwaja Ashramam is known a seat of learning in India.This Theerdham was a place of penance for many a devotees too. This place is also known as Lobhavi locally
Pariwara Deities
Ardha Nareeswara Linga was installed by Sage Bhrughu.Agasthya`s Neelakanteswara Linga .Manikanteswara Linga .Vysa`s Linga,Markandeya Linga,Mruthyunjaya Linga, are few eminent lingas in this temple .During famine A Shasra Ghata (Thousand Pots) Abhishekam is performed to the Mruthyunjaya Lina for rainfall.Kalabhairava is the Kshetrapalaka.There are lingas installed by Yama,Chitra Gupta and Dharmaraja too in this temple.Surya,Sani,Veeraragha,Venkateswara ,and Varadha raja are other important pariwara deities.Inside temple one can see A lofty kannappa Vigraham along with Spatika Linga and panchaloha Vigrahams of 63 Nayanars

This place is near the South Gopuram.This Mandapam which has many Sculptures depicting the Shivaleelas.Further are worth seeing temple of Panchamukheswara .The Durga Temple where nineday Festival during october is on the north.
